Hi, I'm Shaokun

I am currently a doctoral student in the Black Hole Feedback and Cosmic Ray Astrophysics group at Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, CAS.

My research is focused on the use of numerical simulation to study the impact of AGN jet on the circumgalactic medium (or CGM for short). CGM is literally the extensive gas halo surrounding galaxies but within the dark matter halo, and is the ingredient source for star formation in galaxies. Therefore, the property and dynamics of CGM have crucial influences on galaxy evolution.
